Back to Blog
The trek to Kedarnath Temple is a 16–18 km climb from Gaurikund through some of the most breathtaking Himalayan scenery in India.
Difficulty & Fitness
The trail is moderately difficult with a steady ascent. Begin light cardio and walking practice at least three weeks before your trip.
Best Season
May–June and September–October offer the clearest weather. Avoid the monsoon months due to slippery paths and landslide risk.
On the Trail
- Start early to reach before dark.
- Carry water, dry fruits, and a raincoat.
- Ponies and palanquins are available for those who need assistance.
Pradik Travels arranges accommodation, permits, and optional helicopter tickets to make your darshan comfortable.
